Notes:
Wu Guanzhong's "Alley" uses minimalist brushstrokes to outline a deep and quiet alley in an ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River in China. The composition of the picture is lofty, the lines are smooth and simple, and the beauty is sparseness, creating an infinite spatial artistic conception between limited brushstrokes. The high walls on both sides of the picture are like screens, and the narrow stone road winds deep into the painting, guiding the viewer's sight to slowly pass through this tranquility and poetry.
Wu Guanzhong organically combined Western modern art with traditional Chinese ink painting in the 20th century and was hailed as a model of "integration of Chinese and Western". He often uses life scenes as creative themes, integrating profound realistic skills with abstract expression. In this work, he uses almost blank walls to create an atmosphere of light and tranquility, and a few strokes of color details (such as red wall corners and bluestone roads) are just right to add rhythm and rhythm to the whole work.
This is limited edition print No. 15 and is in good condition. Although there are slight spots and signs of aging on the paper, these add to the work's sense of age and real texture. It is a rare masterpiece from Wu Guanzhong's late mature style and is of great artistic and collection value.
吴冠中的《小巷》以极简的笔触勾勒出中国江南古镇中一条深幽宁静的巷弄。画面构图高远，线条流畅简洁，以疏为美，在有限的笔墨之间创造出无限的空间意境。画面两侧高墙如屏，狭长的石板路蜿蜒深入画中深处，引导观者的视线缓缓穿行于这份沉静与诗意之中。
吴冠中于20世纪将西方现代艺术与中国传统水墨有机结合，被誉为“中西融合”的典范。他常以生活场景作为创作题材，将深厚的写实功力与抽象表达融为一体。在本作中，他以近乎留白的墙体营造出光与静谧的气氛，几笔彩色细节（如红墙角与青石路）恰到好处地点染其间，使整幅作品更具节奏与韵律。
