Collectors, galleries, museums and the general public alike are invited to consign to 33 Auction their marketable properties belonging to a category which 33 Auction offers for auction sale. The properties should herald a certain degree of quality, provenance, rarity or pedigree.


Currently 33 Auction offers auction sale in the following category:
1. Modern and Contemporary South East Asian Art:  paintings, sculptures, photography, installation art executed by artists from Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam and other South East Asian countries

2. Fine, Modern and Contemporary Chinese Asian Art:  paintings, sculptures, photography, installation art executed by Chinese artist, including those from Japan, Korea and Russia


33 Auction is committed to assist you in any way we can with your consignments. Whether you are interested in selling, reorganising your collection or simply looking for updated valuations, our specialists are available to help you with expert advice and appraisals. Steps and procedures to consign:

1. E‐mail clear images as well as description (e.g. artist, title, year of execution, measurement, provenance) of the property (in the category which 33 Auction offers auction sale) you wish to consign to 33 Auction's specialists. You can also use the contact form on 33 Auction website to upload the images and the description (preferred method)

2. The specialists may contact you to request further information or to arrange to see the property you wish to consign


3. The specialists will contact you to inform you the suitability of the property. If the property is found to be suitable, we will discuss the valuation and walk you through the consignment process.

4. Sign and return to us the Consignment Agreement as well as payment instruction form.  


5. Ship the work to 33 Auction so that the department can catalogue the property and include the work in the auction catalogue. Please ship the work to us at least 6 weeks before the auction.


6. As a consignor, you will receive the auction catalogue about 2-3 weeks prior to the sale. You may also check out our website for the online catalogue.

7. After the auction, you can check the auction result to see if your property has been sold. You will also receive a post auction sale advice detailing the lots that have been sold and the price achieved.


8. We will issue a Settlement Statement and remit to you the amount due 35 days after the auction ended, provided the buyer has made full payment for your property*

* In the event that your property has not been sold, we would provide you with a Statement detailing the amount due to 33 Auction together with payment instructions.

Standard fees (in Singapore dollars) are as follows:

1. Seller's Commission: 10% of the hammer price


2. Insurance: 1% of the reserve price or hammer price whichever is higher


3. Illustration : $200-1000/item, depending on the number of pages the item is illustrated in the auction catalogue

4. Shipping, restoration, framing (if necessary) in on consignor's account: quotation can be obtained on a case‐by‐case basis


5. Local pick‐up/delivery is at the expense and risk of the consignor and clients deal in principle directly with the transporter/forwarder/delivery company. 33 Auction can assist at the consignor’s request in making the necessary arrangements:  
- $40/item/trip for lots not requiring special handling
- Extra charges for bulky lots or items requiring special care apply
- Transport insurance is at the expense of the consignor
