Empty spaces could also be accepted as an effort in creating wall illusion, an unlimited space, or paint that had been applied evenly. The law of firmness as applied in the real life is shown by the movement of a body, tension, stiffness, etc. The white area limitation in painting, as a firmness, as applied in our society, in which we are limited by the law, norms, ethics, and even territorial border, right-wrong, etc.”
